PLEASE NOTE: GPMR communicates primarily by email. GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.

GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana and parts of Colorado.

!!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!

I am a BBM. Big Beautiful Mastiff. I am Dallas
I came from the Houston area where a good samaritan found me living in a crate for most of my life. I have at my very young age of 2 had a litter of pups but that will never happen again thanks to the care of my Great Plains Mastiff Rescue Family.
While I lived in that crate I managed to get a very very bad case of demodex and I lost most of my hair and had bad skin itchies.
Since Great Plains took me into their program my foster Mom & skin brother have been taking great care of me. I have been to the vet and I have special shampoo and medicine to help with all of my skin problems. My hair is growing back quite nicely! I live with other dogs and I do very well with them. They love me and they know it. I also love treats and I am learning alot cause there is nothing I will not do for a treat. I am a sweet girl who just wants to lie on the sofa next to you.......ok maybe on top of your lap and get petted and loved on. I give big mastiff kisses too. I will sit next to you as long as you pet me and when you move I will move with you. You will never be lonley with me around. I love eeryone and will greet you with a big tail ummmm maybe a big body wag.
Please look into my soulful eyes and further than my skin cause I am a BBM!
