***This Mastiff is part of our "Fall in Love" adoption event and her adoption fee is waived! Meet Cider! She was rescued by a good samaritan when her owners moved and couldn't bring her. Cider came in rough shape, she was terribly underweight, had a lot of fleas and had a very large wound on her neck. This good samaritan took Cider in and started nursing her back to health. Cider's health is much better but she's got ongoing skin issues that we are treating and giving her medicated baths and medications to treat. She's been eating great and has no problems taking her medications. She is also blind in one eye. Cider is about 3 years old and heartworm negative! Cider is giant hunk of drooly lovebug. She's housebroken although she won't use a doggy door. She's content to chill out and also loves playing with the other dogs in her foster home. Cider is good with medium to large size dogs and large livestock too! She's not good with chickens and other birds if they are loose in her yard and not recommended for small dogs or cats. She can get startled on the side where she is blind so she's not recommended for families with small children. She's very heat intolerant and can only be outside in this summer heat for very short periods of time. Cider loves water and lounging in a kiddie pool. Cider was recently diagnosed with severe arthritis. We started her on joint supplements but likely she will need to be on long term medications in the near future. Cider is being fostered in McAlester, OK More about Cider - Fall in LoveGood with Dogs, Good with Cats
