GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.
  
GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana and parts of Colorado. 
!!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!

Meet Hercules! He is about 8 years old. This boy came into GPMR originally back at the end of 2013. He had been rescued by a veterinarian when he was hit by a car and his owners couldn't afford his care. His front leg was so damaged that it had to be amputated. Hercules didn't miss a beat and was only with GPMR a short time before he was adopted.

Unfortunately there have been a lot of changes in this boy's home and he now needs to come back to rescue. He is not good with small animals and is very nervous around children, so an adult only home is the best placement for him. His owner reports he did fine with their Mastiff but sometimes is not accepting of new dogs that he meets if they get in his face or growl at him. But if the dog is large and has a calm, balanced temperament, he does fine. He is currently fostered with 2 Mastiffs and does great with one them but not the other. So this boy would be best as the only dog in his home. Hercules is current on all vet care. Please consider giving this boy a retirement home!
