Eddie (prev. known as Zeke) is a two year old fawn neutered male. He is a sweet guy who wags his tail alot. He seems to really enjoy human company. He has met his foster furry siblings through a baby gate and wags his tail and seems to be fine with them so far. Once he has settled in we will introduce him to the other pets in the home to see how he does. He is not very house savvy - he is pretty clumsy around doors and regular house stuff. He is crate trained.

He has "dry eye" and will need to be on eye drops the rest of his life and recently was treated for erlichia and still has sores all over. We were told the vet removed close to 2000 ticks by the good samaritan who found him and had him treated.

Update 5/24/08: Eddie is doing is great in his foster home. His personality has been slow to emerge but he is a very goofy boy that likes to play. He is doing well with the dogs and cats in the home. His recent vet visit confirmed that he does have a condition called Keratoconjunctivitis Sicca (KCS) aka dry eye, which means that he doesn't produce enough tears to keep his eyes moist. The treatment is as easy as daily eye drops but he will need to stay on the drops for the rest of his life to prevent future eye infections and problems. He's a wonderful boy with a lot of personality as you can see in his pictures!
