Meet Ozzy! He's a handsome 2-year-old boy who came into rescue when his previous owner had some health challenges. We're still learning about him. So far, we know that he's basically a typical teen-ager!  He wasn't socialized much, can be a little stubborn, may test you a bit on the first few days and his previous owner did not teach him many manners! Thankfully his foster family is working with him on the basics. He does like his 4-legged foster brother who's a little bigger than him, but he's a bit much for his foster sister who is half his size. So dogs who are a similar size would be a better match versus smaller dogs. Ozzy is about 120 lbs.

We think he was allowed to chew on hands as a puppy, which isn't a great habit to create because puppies grow up! He can be a mouthy with hands and arms but takes correction very well. He would not do well with kids under 13 because of this. He can be shy to warm up to new people and to new things. He is a cautious dog and will let you know if something makes him nervous. His new family will need to continue to work with him, understand his boundaries and be patient with him due to his lack of socialization. A quiter home versus homes with people constantantly coming and going would be a good fit for Ozzy.

We have discovered that he loves playing in the yard and rolling in the grass. He crates well and will go in easily with a treat until he learns the routine. He likes to play and seems to like car rides too. He seemed to bond quickly with his foster family once he learned the routine. He's heartworm negative, neutered and current on vaccines. And he has possibly THE softest fur his foster family has ever experienced with a mastiff. He is a gorgeous boy that needs a patient and experienced home. Is that home yours?

Ozzy is being fostered near Tulsa, OK
