Meet Lottie! This young pup was being given away with another dog for free on Facebook. One of our partner rescues was able to get her safe and then she came to GPMR to help find her forever family.

Lottie is estimated at about 5 months old. She has started her vaccines and is getting boosters here soon. We don't know that she had seen a vet before and so we got those vaccines started right away. She appears to be in good health other than a urinary tract infection she had when we got her which has been treated. However she does urinate when she's either very excited or scared of something. This is usually something that resolves with confidence building exercises and training, and her adoptive family will need to be patient with her on this.

Lottie is good with other dogs but a little shy with new dogs she's just meeting. This should easily improve with socialization which it doesn't appear she had much of in her previous life. Her new family will be required to take her through a puppy training class to continue the basic training we've started and help her with meeting other dogs. She has not been evaluated with cats. Lottie likes to snuggle with her people and her fosters feel she would do just fine with dog saavy kids.

Lottie is being fostered in Yukon, OK.
