Meet Dwayne Johnson! This boy was rescued by a shelter in TX from a neglect situation. He was living in a garage with another dog and not being cared for. The shelter saved them and then they came to GPMR! He is estimated at two years old and has the energy of a young dog. He loves to leap and run around the yard showing off his goofy and fun side. He is new to house training and doing great! It’s been a long time since his last accident but still needs some guidance and encouragement on where to do his business outside. Roaming the house is no problem but he considers food on the counters fair game. We are careful to keep anything edible well out of his reach. Playing with his foster brother is his favorite thing to do! Mr. Johnson loves to play chase and tug-of-war or just lay around. He does well around cats, dogs and older humans. He hasn’t spent time around little ones yet, so a home with older kids or not kids would be the best fit for him. He is very affectionate and loving, wanting to be by your side all the time. It's hard to resist those puppy eyes! He doesn’t do well when separated from his people in the home. He’ll bark to let you know that he wants to be near you. With the in-home cameras, we’ve confirmed that he’s fine home alone while his foster parents work during the day. However we'd prefer to find him a home where someone is around part of the day. Mr. Johnson is a loving and healthy young dog looking for a family to play with and love. He really needs to have a canine companion in his forever home too!
