Welcome Pepper to GPMR! Pepper is a 4.5 year old gorgeous brindle girl. At about 105 lbs, she is petite for the breed. Pepper came into rescue when her family moved and was unable to take her with them. Pepper lived with kids and a cat, reportedly does fine with both children and feline friends. We would recommend a home with kids aged 6 and older.

It appears Pepper's family largely left her in the garage or outside, so she has not been socialized well outside of her home. She is a little shy and reacts timidly to new people and environments. Once she feels safe, she is the biggest cuddle bug. She thrives on positive attention and affection. Pepper is learning basic commands. She did not know how to walk on a leash when she came to us, and now her favorite confidence building activity is leash walking. She’s picked up heeling very quickly and enjoys exploring with her foster family.

Pepper gets along great with her Mastiff foster brother. We think she’d be happy in any home either a spoiled only pup or better yet with a confident resident canine to keep her company. Pepper is spayed, hearttworm negative and ready for adoption!

Pepper is being fostered in Yukon, OK.
