Meet Walnut! This sweet boy was rescued from a shelter in MO where he was found as a stray with no collar, ID or microchip, and no one came to claim him. A private citizen saw him there and reached out to us for help. Walnut is a Bullmastiff and about 1 year old. He is very friendly with people, but does need some socialization with other dogs. He isn't aggressive but doesn't seem to know how to interact with them. We see this when puppies are taken away from their mom and litter too early.

Walnut thankfully tested negative for heartworms. He was diagnosed with a lung infection and has started treatment although he doesn't have any symptoms so we expect him to recover with medications. He is a happy and affectionate boy who is looking for his home!

Walnut is being fostered in Guthrie OK.
