Meet Banjo! This sweet boy came into rescue when his family's job situation changed and they had to travel for work. Unfortunately the constant change and lack of a yard was stressful for Banjo and his family decided that finding him another home would be best for him. He is 3 years old and reported to be a Mastiff/St. Bernard mix.

Banjo is still new to us and we're getting to know his personality. He is definitely very weary of strangers. He has had his tail tucked a lot and nervous. He does have a bad ear infection that is getting treated by the vet.

Due to Banjo's insecure personality and fear of new people, we have him in a training program to help build his confidence so he's not too scared of new situations. The trainer said he is fearful of strangers in general, especially men. But he did accept his foster Dad just within a couple of days of being in their home.

Banjo's ideal home will have a family who does not have a lot of people coming and going, and who is routine oriented. We also would want a family who can continue working with Banjo to not bark at visitors and work to build up his confidence! Banjo is fostered with 2 boys under the age of 5 and does really well with them.

Banjo is being fostered in Tulsa, OK.
