Meet Hera! This gorgeous brindle girl came to GPMR when her owner fell on hard times and wasn't able to keep her. She lived primarily outside so the first few days being in her home were a little scary for her. But now she's learned the comforts of temperature control, dog beds and toys and she's loving every minute of it! Hera is about 2.5 years old.

Hera is doing well with her foster sister and she lived with dogs in her previous home. She has a soft personality for sure and should do well with about any dog. And she really does need another dog in her forever home as she's always lived with another dog and she is happiest with a Canine companion. Cats are a no for this girl. A home with older kids 12+ would probably be OK for her too, small kids might be a little overwhelming for her. She will require a fence that is 5 ft or higher. Sadly Hera has tested positive for heartworms but she's been treated and is ready for adoption!

Hera is being fostered in Tulsa, OK.
