GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.
  
GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana and parts of Colorado. 
!!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!

Meet Emmie! She came into rescue when her owners' lives just got too busy and she was having to be home alone for sometimes 15 hours a day. They realized that wasn't fair to Emmie and contacted us to bring her into GPMR. Emmie is close to 6 years old, she lived with older kids at her previous home and did well with them. She is good with other medium to large size dogs too. We would love to adopt Emmie to a home where she has another doggie companion as she's always lived with another dog and likes to play. 

Emmie was adopted but then returned for killing a stray cat on their property. She requires a home without cats or small dogs, or any other small animals.


Emmie is a typical velcro Mastiff and wants to be wherever her people are. She enjoys going to places and meeting new people.

Emmie is heartworm negative and is in good health. She is ready to find a forever home of her own! She would be a great dog for a first time Mastiff owner as she has a wonderful demeanor.

Emmie is being fostered in Shawnee, OK.
