Sugar  Meet "Shocker-B." She is an 8 year old very mature Mastiff who suddenly was in need of a new home. Her previous owner was moving out of state and couldn't take her and his parents were moving and they couldn't take her. Due to her age, we knew it would be very difficult to place Shocker. However, a caring individual went out on a limb and took this girl in. Her passion is elderly Mastiffs and she wanted to help Shocker. Shocker has since been renamed Sugar and is living as comfortable as possible. It was discovered that she has some severe orthopedic problems. She has hip dysplasia and an old cruciate ligament injury. Her surgery will likely cost around $1500 should her new adoptive mom decide to have it done. Right now, she is being kept comfortable on arthritis meds and in a loving home with her new sisters. Thank you so much Mandi for opening your heart to this gal! |
