There are times when GPMR cannot accept a Mastiff into rescue. Sometimes, we don't have foster homes to care for them, or they are senior mastiffs needing a long-term foster home that we don't have available, or they are just out of our area. However, we normally don't stop by turning these Mastiffs away completely. We have helped privately place (no adoption donation to GPMR at all) several Mastiffs over the past years. Our goal is to make sure these gentle giants are safe, and if we can help by connecting the relinquishing owner to a prospective home then we'll do so. We love this noble breed and want to save as many as we can!
