Meet Marshall! He is about 3 years old and was found wandering out in rural Texas, and ended up in a shelter. He was not microchipped and no one came to claim him, so he came to GPMR! Like most dogs from the southern part of TX, he tested positive for heartworms. He has started treatment and that will be completed before he is ready for adoption.

Marshall is a silly boy who likes to play. He definitely can be rambunctious so a home with no kids under 12 would be the best match for him. He has done well with the other dogs in his foster home, it is unknown if he is good with cats. Marshall's ideal home would be a more active one who can spend time playing with him out in the yard. He would love to have a canine companion as well!

Marshall's foster mom noticed he had a bit of a limp so we are getting him Xrayed to see what is going on. We'll report back once we know more. Marshall will be on medical hold until his heartworm treatment is completed.

Marshall is being fostered in Shawnee, OK.
