Big Dog Buddies
Being involved with rescue, we have had the pleasure of meeting alot of great volunteers with other fantastic "Big Dog" rescues and look forward to meeting those that we haven't gotten to know yet.
Giant breed dogs are much harder to place than than small to medium size dogs due to their obvious bigger size, but also because they are more expensive to care for. Everything costs more, food, medicine, boarding, and medical procedures. We'd like to recognize these groups below by linking to their sites in an effort to help promote the other Giant and Large breed rescues around Oklahoma. **We want to recognize a fellow rescuer, who opens her heart and home to many different breeds of Mastiffs, but also geriatric Mastiffs. We have had the pleasure of working with her when she offered her help where we could not. Oftentimes, the seniors are forgotten and Mandie is around to make sure there is at least one person who will love them and care for them for the remainder of their days, months or years in some cases. We appreciate everything she has done for Mastiffs including the "mature" ones. Thank you Mandie for opening your heart to the oldies.
