Fundraising:
GPMR is an all volunteer organization which depends on generous donations to fund our rescue.  We are always in need of someone who can coordinate events and funtions.  We would appreciate anyone who is willing to give a couple hours of their time to man a booth, should we schedule an event.  Any fundraising ideas or activities that you can suggest or help with will help us raise funds for those Mastiffs who need us.  If you have any questions or ideas please contact our Fundraising/Event Coordinators at  events@greatplainsmastiffrescue.org

Shelter Checking:
We need someone who would be available with a 12-24 hr notice to do a shelter check in the Oklahoma City area and surrounding cities.  Often we get calls regarding a Mastiff that needs to be rescued and we may only have 24 hours to ID the Mastiff, evaluate that Mastiff, find a foster home, and pull them from the shelter.  If you feel that you have the time and knowledge to assist with shelter checks, please contact us. 

Transporting:
Do you love to drive?  GPMR often needs help in either transporting a Mastiff to their new home, or getting a Mastiff from their old situation to GPMR.  If you can help with transports, please contact us. 

Home Visits:
We like to do home visits on all of our applicants who wish to adopt a Mastiff from GPMR. If you would be willing to help in this area, please contact us. We will provide training to assist you in doing a proper home visit.

Other:
If you would like to volunteer for GPMR, but you don't see anything above that you would like to help with...apply anyway!  Tell us how you would like to help GPMR. Every single volunteer brings a different knowledge and / or talent to the group.  We would love to have you become a member of the GPMR Family!
