Mya was rescued from a TX shelter, she is a 5 year old Mastiff mix.  She was an instant family member the moment she walked in the house of her foster family.   She greeted the other 3 dogs as if she had known them forever.   The little ones love that she is so calm and gentle with them and that Mya allows them to walk underneath her……the Pomeranian’s favorite “trick”.    Mya LOVES car rides.   As soon as she sees her leash, she is at the door sitting and waiting.   She must have used a harness at one time because the first time we put it on her, she immediately raised a leg as if to put it through the strap.   She goes to the back door when she wants to go outside to potty.   She doesn’t like to be outside too long without one of us with her.   If we are inside, she will potty and come right back to the door and give a little bark to come in.   She visited Three Dog Bakery today and was quite well behaved.   She didn’t take anything that was not offered to her.   And “Aunt Christy” gave her a nice beefy bone to take home….which she has been enjoying!  We think the Bakery will be a favorite “outing” for Mya.

Mya has received one treatment for heartworms but still needs her second one so she is on Medical Hold until she has reccovered from that.  Please feel free to apply for her today!

Mya is being fostered in Ft. Worth, TX.
