PLEASE NOTE:GPMR communicates primarily by email. If you have any questions regarding one of our Mastiffs, please read their bio and if you still have questions- drop us an email at info@greatplainsmastiffrescue.org . If you have questions about our adoption procedures, please go to our Pages of Interest on the left hand column under "Adoption Info." We answer email inquiries almost immediately-usually always within a few hours and phone calls are returned with 24-36 hours.
GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption
application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.
GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri and parts of Colorado.
!!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!
Cayman is a 4 year old Mastiff who was surrendered to GPMR by her family. When we got her she was shy since her family had not socialized her, but since then she's been spending time at Doggie Daycare and making lots of friends. She enjoys her playtime with the other pups and seems to do fine with dogs big and small. Cayman also met a kitty recently and when the kitty swatted at her, she just walked away! She is a little too active for young kids but kids over 10 would be OK.
Cayman has a lot of love to give and is looking for a family who can continue to socialize her and make her the best Mastiff girl she can be! Is that family yours?

Our dogs love to sleep on Kuranda Dog beds, but we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price for a another dog to sleep in comfort, please donate a Kuranda dog bed.
