GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption
application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.
GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri and parts of Colorado.
!!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!
Sydney is a Mastiff mix who was an owner release from a Missouri shelter. She is approximately 3 to 4 years old and weighs 91 pounds. We are working on putting some added weight on her, and she will probably be around 100 pounds when she fills out. She has grey on her muzzle, but don't let that fool you. She looks and acts like a very young, but well behaved dog. Sydney has beautiful, unique colored eyes that just melt your heart!
She is very sweet, gentle and loving. In public buildings and situations, she seems very timid and probably has not been socialized to being in public, so we're working on that. At home, she is not timid at all. She took right away to her foster brother and sister and her Mom & Dad too. In fact, she loves to cuddle up with people and dogs while taking her naps. If you are anywhere near her on the floor, she will put her head on your lap as she loves to be pet. She prefers to be in the same room with you at all times but isn't demanding of attention.
She likes to go for walks which will help build up her confidence in public. She likes running around the back yard with her foster brother and sister. She is housebroken, knows how to ask to go out, doesn't bother you while eating and knows how to sit. She is a very well behaved girl!
Sydney is being fostered in Broken Arrow, OK.
