Hi Y'All, nice to meet ya! The nice folks at GPMR took me out of a shelter in Texas.
I was surrendered by my owners when some nice folks kept checking in on me and were not happy with my living conditions. They told my family that they needed to find me a new home.
I am in a foster home with other dogs like me and I am not so sure about it all. I have never had another dog to play with but I know I can get the hang of it. It is just going to take some time 'cause I do not know how to play with other dogs.
I am not so sure about toys either cause I never had them before but I tell ya what, I do love rawhides.......they are my new favorite treats. I have a lot to learn including potty training. I am working very hard on not marking. Now that I am neutered it should help.
I love to get loving and belly rubs and I am starved for attention and tend to get a bit jealous when I am not getting it and another dog is.
I met a few kitties in the shelter I was at and they did not bother me even when they rubbed up against me. I have not met a stranger yet. I like kids and I am very gentle and for such a bog dog, I give little kisses.
I have completed heartworm treatment and have a clean bill of health. I am ready to go to my forever family.
Simba is being fostered in Ft. Worth, TX.
