Teddy needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?

PLEASE NOTE: GPMR communicates primarily by email.  If you have any questions regarding one of our Mastiffs, please read their bio and if you still have questions- drop us an email at info@greatplainsmastiffrescue.org .  If you have questions about our adoption procedures, please go to our Pages of Interest on the left hand column under "Adoption Info."  We answer email inquiries almost immediately-usually always within a few hours and phone calls are returned with 24-36 hours.

GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption
application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.

GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri and parts of Colorado.
!!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!

Can you believe my original owners had me listed on Craig's List as free to a good home?
What Nerve!  Some nice folks took them up on that offer just to make sure I did not wind up in a bad situation.  They named me Roy cuz I am a good ol' boy!
They were so nice to me. They fed me and took me to the vet but we had one problem.......We lived every close to a busy highway and I liked to run through the electric fencing.  They were so frightened I was going to get hit by a car they asked the nice people of GPMR to find me a forever home where I will be safe.
My foster mom renamed me Teddy because I remind her of a big teddy bear!
I love playing with big dogs!  I am living with cats here, I leave them alone unless they run then I like to chase but I am just playing. You just need to tell me No and I will stop chasing.  I am still a bit to clumsy for young children to play with so I can't go into a home with young children  Here is a video of me playing soccer:

I need a safe home and fenced yard to play in so I can play soccer.  I also love the water so if you have a pond or lake for me to play in, I would be so happy!  If not a kiddie pool will do.  :)  Do you have a safe home for me?

Teddy is being fostered in Bethany, OK.
