Meet Holly! She is a 1.5-2 year old girl who was rescued from a shelter in TX. Holly is what we in the Mastiff world call a "Fluffy" - she has a longer, soft coat. It is not very common but occassionally seen in Mastiffs. She LOVES LOVES LOVES people - both male and female. She really wants to please and has done very well with her housetraining. She LOVES bellyrubs and really thinks she is a lap dog.
We are working on leash/walking manners and she is doing well; she understands and is starting to respond to "sit/stay". She has a tendency to be a jumper, but we think she is just excited to see someone nice - she responds to "down" and just rolls on her back. She still has a lot of puppy energy so she will need a family who can work on exercising and obedience training with her. She is a very curious girl!
Holly loves her "baby bear"- carrys it around with her and is very gentle with it. Her foster mom says she is the sweetest dog she has ever met.
Holly is heartworm positive so we will be treating her for that.
Holly needs a new foster home, she is not getting along with the other female dog in the house. She does great with the male dog however - so a home either with a male dog or where she can be the only dog would be ideal. If you can foster Holly please fill out a Foster Application.
Holly is currently being fostered in Gretna, NE.
