Great Plains Mastiff
Rescue Foundation
GPMR has a lot of medical cases right now! Simba, Sully and Carter are all heartworm positive and need to undergo treatment soon. Carter is also recovering from pneumonia and had to be hospitalized for several days. JJ had X-rays taken for problems he is having with his legs and also had to be treated for a tick disease. Please consider making a donation to GPMR to help dogs like JJ, Simba, Sully, and Carter - and the new rescues that will be coming in that also need our help!

Great Plains Mastiff Rescue is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization made up of volunteers dedicated to saving Mastiffs in need. Our goal is to find a forever home and family for every mastiff that we rescue. We health check each mastiff that comes into our rescue program. This includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, testing for worms and parasites and treatment, heartworm testing and treatment, and microchipping.
GPMR does not have a shelter. Our Mastiffs are cared for by volunteers who foster them until they can find their forever homes.
Currently we are only adopting to the following states:
Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, and parts of Colorado.

Foster Homes Needed!!
One of the most important aspects of rescuing a Mastiff in need is having a foster home available. If we don't have a foster home available, we might have to turn a dog away. You can foster a dog short-term or long-term...you decide. If you can open your home and heart to a Mastiff in need, please fill out our Foster Application under Forms/Applications.
