Great Plains Mastiff
Rescue Foundation

GPMR would like to send a huge Thank You to Mark & Dan

who are the founders of The Gracie Foundation.

The Gracie Foundation was set up to help neglected and abused dogs.

Created by Mark Beckloff and Dan Dye out of their love for dogs the world-over,

The Gracie Foundation acts as a "red cross for dogs" in need.

The foundation works with a variety of organizations to provide

immediate response and crucial supplies to pets in emergency situations.

The Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization

that offers financial assistance to any properly

 licensed not-for-profit companion animal groups

with a focus on rescuing dogs.

Mark & Dan are also the writers of Amazing Gracie:

Am Gracie cover

Amazing Gracie: A Dog's Tale (Paperback)

"She was the loneliest pup in the litter -

a deaf and partially blind albino Great Dane.

She had huge sky blue eyes. And this is her story .

All royalties from Amazing Gracie benefit the Gracie Foundation,

a nonprofit organization whose funds

help abused and neglected animals."

Great Plains Mastiff Rescue is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization made up of volunteers dedicated to saving Mastiffs in need. Our goal is to find a forever home and family for every mastiff that we rescue. We health check each mastiff that comes into our rescue program. This includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, testing for worms and parasites and treatment, heartworm testing and treatment, and microchipping.

GPMR does not have a shelter. Our Mastiffs are cared for by volunteers who foster them until they can find their forever homes.

Currently we are only adopting to the following states:
Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, and parts of Colorado.

Foster Homes Needed!!

One of the most important aspects of rescuing a Mastiff in need is having a foster home available.  If we don't have a foster home available, we might have to turn a dog away.  You can foster a dog short-term or long-term...you decide.  If you can open your home and heart to a Mastiff in need, please fill out our Foster Application under Forms/Applications.

Save a life...foster a Mastiff!
